Ray C's Story

Life is good My Job is no longer was laid off July 08 after 6 years with the company. Let me know if ya know of one. I'm desperately looking. I have opened and operated various types of food service establishments, ran limousines, and was a DJ over the years. I'm now a purchasing agent buying wholsale building materials for a regional distributor. I would hope all my friends and loves in my life remember me as a caring and giving person. I always wanted to be a a friendly caring person when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a pretty nice idea. As it turns out, they were right. I head to the beach to relax and blow off stress. The wildest thing I have ever done was move to Hawaii and open a sandwich shop in Waikiki. It was a blast. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a good sense of humor , and not let the stess of people bother me , and just live to be able to deal with the day-to-day. The loves in my life have inspired me over the years. The heartache and up lifts are my inspirations. I have lived in Portsmouth VA, Virginia Beach VA, Newport News VA, Hononlulu HI, Pittsburg PA, and I guess you could say I lived in Miami FL and Fort Lauderdale since I flew there enough over 5 years most every month. Geez wish I had the money I spent on flights back and forth. The things we do for love. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Les Harling, because he impacted more people in my life and his name comes up more often than anyone I have ever met. His personality was overwhelming. His life was cut short in Puerto Rico , Such a talented person to have his life cut so short. Anyone who met him will agree. My obession is being in love with som...Expand for more
eone that loves me back. Passion and roamance thats the key. My biggest surprise is is finding out that that people aren't who they say they are. I'm not a parent. I have two handicapped parents they are kids enough. Both at home both are 24/7 in need of care. Me and my siblings with the help of nurses care for them. I would love to see my eight grade history teacher Ms Moore again she brought us into the subject and made it a part of us. If I won $100 million, I'd give a portion of it to my family , then spend the rest on making myself, my friends and anyone else along the way happy. I'd be happiest living in Hawaii with the love of my life. My current age is 54. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be to old to think about anything. I was so completely wrong. I feel so much younger than anyone my age. Why are all you guys so old at 54? I feel 30 . I certainly don't dress or listen to music of a 54 year old person that is for sure. If I could go back and do it over again I would never have sold the first resturant. Boy was I in the dark and the grass wasn't greener. In 10 years, I hope to be happy and in love . I'm going to get there by showing that I am still the person I have always been. Most would be surprised at the loves I've had in my life. My first job was at Grants Department Store in Midcity Shopping Center, where I got paid $3.15 and hour to sell toys. What I remember most about it is I hated it at christmas time. As a child I was burned 3rd degree on my right leg. I spent the better part of a year with my grand parents in NC in an out of the Hospital. Country doctors in the late 50s humm... Still have the scars. Let me hear from ya!!! Life is great!
